Happy Mother’s Day

I wanted to wish the 6th Grade moms, whom I haven’t seen enough of this year, a very happy Mother’s Day! Please enjoy a floral mask in lieu of actual flowers. They were distributed in class so I don’t know who got what, but hopefully it will bring a smile to your face even if it’s not your personal style. Feel free to pass your mask along to someone else if it’s not your thing; I don’t mind that at all. The fabric collections are “Moody Bloom” and “Nature’s Notebook” for anyone who’s curious.

Your mask is made with two layers of pre-washed 100% cotton, with a plastic-coated nose wire, synthetic (polyester or nylon with spandex) elastic, and silicone slide adjusters. Wash before wearing. Click here for care instructions and other information. These are “one size fits most” but they can be a little big on petite faces. Though the fabric is pre-washed, you could try washing and drying at high temperature to see if it tightens up a bit more. Or wear it as a cover over a disposable mask. See here for how to knot and tuck a surgical mask to use as a filter.

I wish you all a safe and healthy rest of the school year and summer, and I look forward to seeing more of you soon. Maybe even without masks!

XOXO
